I wanted to go to the beach today. But due to the list of chores my mum gave me and the internet time i tried to fit in between, plus the fact that the sky wanted to rain; in the end I didn't have a chance to go afterall. I may try monday again, but I also want to go the craft store.


Last wednesday was my 22nd birthday. Yup, no one would believe I'm that old, huh? Had dinner with my family, where my mum cooked my fave Vietnamese noodle dish. Those red envelopes (filled with $$$) are from my grandma, aunt Kim, and my mum.

Other presents. The edgy-style checker dress shirt is from my aunt Tammy (she always knows what I like fashion-wise). And the Hollister white hoodie is from my cousin michelle (she loves the brand, but me not so much).

This monday I went walking around the mall and saw the cutest polkadot (my fave pattern) top in the Forever21 store. I know I shouldn't be wasting money buying new clothes but it was just too adorable. Polkadots is the death of meX33

I got very bored so I gave a whack at sewing. I've wanted to try making a ruffle skirt for a while so I used some leftover fabric. Not what I had in mind when I started, but I think it works*
