Summary: Wooyoung's friend, Junho, for some reason ordered a LoverBot (aka a lover that's a robot) from online as an early birthday gift for him. But after checking the the wrong gender box the LoverBot turned out to be male. Wooyoung is not impressed, especially when the LoverBot kept trying to be intimate with him. The LoverBot's name is Nichkhun.
Wooyoung opened his bedroom door as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He paused at his door frame for a second to stretch. When he opened his eyes he jumped. In front of him was Nichkhun the Loverbot down on one knee holding a bouquet of flowers. Wooyoung just woke up and all he wants to do is go to the bathroom to take care of his business. So this scene wasn't really getting to him.
"Get out of the way." Wooyoung pushed pass Nichkhun to get to the bathroom, and closes the door shut.
Maybe ten minutes later when he's all freshen up, Wooyoung heads back to his bedroom. But he was stopped short by the bouquet of yellow flowers presented to him in Nichkhun's hands.
"I'm sorry, Wooyoung," said the Loverbot.
This must be about what happened last night. Wooyoung didn't know robots has conscience.
"What is this?" Wooyoung frowned.
"Your favorite color is yellow so I brought you yellow roses," Nichkhun said brightly.
"How do you know I like yellow? And how did you even get money to buy them," Wooyoung wondered.
"Because I do," Nichkhun said confidently. "I went to the flower shop and asked the lady for yellow roses and she just gave them to me." The Loverbot smiled his perfect smile like he usually does.
Wooyoung saw something wrong with that story. He looked at the clock on the wall and forgot about the roses. "I don't have time for this."
Wooyoung dashes pass Nichkhun to get to his bedroom, shuts the door to open it again seconds later all changed and ready to go out.
"Where are you going?" Nichkhun wanted to know as he trailed Wooyoung to the door.
"Work," the other said, putting on his sneakers.
"Work?" The Loverbot tilted his head in wonder.
"You know, a job, to earn money, to live," Wooyoung said harshly, and really not in the mood.
"Oh, a job." Nichkhun nodded in understanding. "I'll go with you."
"No." Wooyoung pointed a strong finger at the robot. "You can't go with me. You can't follow me. Just leave me alone for today. Please." He puts his palms together begging.
"Okay. Then I'll give you a goodbye kiss." Nichkhun opened his arms towards the other with his puckered lips.
Wooyoung puts his hand in front of his face as defense. "No goodbye kiss. Just bye." And he safely sneaks out the door and locks it.
"Sorry, I'm late boss-hyung," Wooyoung said, huffing and puffing after running to work from the bus stop.
"Put this on and pass out these flyers." His boss handed him a yellow feathered chicken suit and a stack of yellow paper with printing on them.
"Please, no! Not the suit," Wooyoung whined to his boss.
"Hey, at least I'm not telling you to go up and down the streets making chicken noises and flap your wigs. You just have to pass out flyers. Take it as your punishment for being late. But it wouldn't hurt to do the chicken dance to entertain the folks." The boss left it at that and went back to his office.
"Ah, man!" Wooyoung grumbles as he puts on the ridiculous suit.
He wasn't doing any stupid chicken dance, so Wooyoung simply spent the next few hours pacing in front of Golden Chicken (the restaurant which he works at as a part-timer) handing out flyers to passerbys. Just when Wooyoung thought he was going to take his break he saw a familiar face.
Junho was walking in his direction, and was obviously trying to walk at the edge of the sidewalk so he can avoid the numerous people passing out flyers in front of their businesses. This would include Wooyoung.
But Wooyoung wasn't going to have this. So when Junho came along he jumped right in front of him and spread out his wings to block the other's path. Junho tried to go left so Wooyoung moved left. Junho tried to go right so Wooyoung went to the right. It became a game for the next minute or two.
Suddenly Wooyoung started flapping his wings and making chicken noises. Junho was really weirded out by this and somehow found his chance to make a run for it. Of course Wooyoung wasn't far behind.
They were making a turn to the next block and when Wooyoung thought he was close enough he made a jump for it right on Junho's back. They both fell to the ground with flying feathers.
"Alright, man! I surrender just give me the stupid flyer." Junho sat up and put his hands up in the air.
Wooyoung started laughing as he took his chicken head off to reveal himself.
Junho had his mouth wide open in shock. "Wooyoung!?"
"Why don't you just ask her out?" Junho said to Wooyoung, who had been not so secretly staring at this one serving waitress (petite, baby-faced, very cute).
"What are you talking about?" Wooyoung filled up his cheeks with noodles.
Junho laughed. "Everytime we come here you always looking at that waitress. It's too obvious."
Wooyoung took a quick glance at the mentioned waitress before slurping up the last of the soup in his bowl and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Junho, why are you so interested in my love life?" he finally asked.
"More like the non-existence of it," Junho corrected his friend.
Instead of answering to that Wooyoung drank his glass of water then said this. "The stupid Loverbot you gave me tried to attack me last night, then this morning he tried to apologize with a bouquet of roses."
"He attacked you!?" Junho nearly shouted and almost spit out his own drink.
"Not so loud," Wooyoung hushed. "He tried to. But I kicked him out of my room before anything happened."
"Oh. That's a relief," Junho mumbled the last part.
"You want to go somewhere for some drinks?" Wooyoung suggested, as they walked down the street.
"Are you serious?" Junho looked at him.
Wooyoung thought for a second. "Oh, right. I forgot you pass out after one drink." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Urgh! I don't want to go home and see that thing." (He's referring to the Loverbot)
"You want to stay at me place tonight?" Junho offered.
Wooyoung waved his hand no. "That won't work."
"Why?" Junho asked.
"He says he has built-in GPS. So if he knew I was staying at your place he'll probably knock your door down to get me," Wooyoung explained.
"That sounds scary." Junho hasn't forgotten that punch he got either.
"I guess that's the word." Wooyoung sighed, looking down at his feet.
"Wooyoung!" Junho suddenly shouted.
"What...?" Wooyoung looked up and saw a food delivery bicycle coming right at him and he froze.
Next thing he knew a pair of arms grabbed him and Wooyoung was flying to the side of the road.
"Are you okay?" Junho asked the other, who he had wrapped tightly in his arms.
"Yea, thanks...." Wooyoung looked at the position they were in and found it to be a bit too close. He could even feel the other's breath on his cheek. "Umm, you can let go now, Junho."
Junho kept staring into the other's eyes and began to say, "Wooyoung, I..."
"YAH! Let go of Wooyoung!" someone shouted from somewhere.
"Not again," Wooyoung said, as he was yanked out of Junho's embrace.
Meanwhile, Junho reflexively covered his own face for protection. But when he heard nothing happening he uncovered his face to find both Wooyoung and Loverbot Nichkhun had disappeared.
Notes: Sorry, it took so long to update. I haven't had the inspiration so I got stuck. Hope this chapter was okay, somehow I felt rushed writing this chapter. And apparently I found a new OTP out of Junho/Wooyoung.
