As humans we are more than skin and bones
we are feelings
we are memories
we are senses
even if it feels good
it means nothing
unless it's attached to something more

It's more than your smile
it's more than your voice
it is you and everything that is connected

It is your spirit that lingers even when you're not here with me
it is your scent on my pillow
it is your words put into song
it is the thoughts of you that won't leave my brain cells alone
